Take a Child Outside Week is a national movement started in NC that features special Ranger-led programs at N.C. state parks. Join us for special, family-friendly outdoor activities on Sat. Sept 26 throughout the day, including special interactive presentations by local authors at Writers on the Rock for Kids, then don’t miss the rare opportunity to camp beneath the stars that night. Cost: All activities except Family Campout are included with Park admission; Camping cost is $8 per person in addition to Park admission. Kids 5 and under are free.
