Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair

Art, crafts and music lovers will discover over 200 booths featuring some of the nation's finest work. Artisans and craftspeople are on hand to demonstrate their skills, answer questions and offer their unique art for sale. Live Country & Bluegrass entertainment. Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales

All summer long visitors can meet characters, hear mountain music and learn about life in the Smoky Mountains on the streets of Gatlinburg. Storytellers, musicians and cloggers perform at different locations along the Parkway every evening during this eighth annual event.

Grandfather Mountain Campout

The Grandfather Mountain Campout is a special opportunity to camp in MacRae Meadows and enjoy day and night activities led by Grandfather's naturalists and interpretive rangers. Evening Campfire Program at Mt. Pisgah

Spend your Saturday nights with a classic campfire program at the Mount Pisgah Campground. Join a ranger to learn about a Parkway topic and enjoy a relaxing evening around the campfire. Nature Photography Exhibit: Our Spectacular Southern Appalachians

Enjoy this diverse collection of photographs by members of the Carolinas Nature Photography Association. This exhibit illustrates the CNPA's goal to develop a community that celebrates the beauty of nature through photography while promoting an appreciation of nature within the region. It also reflects a goal of the Cradle of Forestry to help connect people to the land through the arts. James River Transportation Festival

James River Transportation Festival celebrates the history of transportation through the James River Gorge going back to foot paths, dugout canoes, batteau, packet boats, trains, and automobiles using George Washington’s 1784 vision to connect the Ohio River Valley with the Atlantic Ocean via the James and Kanawha Rivers.
