Hendersonville Cheers Trail Passport Makes a Great Holiday Stocking Stuffer

November 1 @ 8:00 am - December 24 @ 5:00 pm

Looking to fill the stockings on your holiday gift list? Try stuffing them with nearly two dozen wineries, breweries and cideries.

The Cheers! Trail Passport is a guide to 23 tasting experiences along this unique trail in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Hendersonville. The trail features 11 breweries, six vineyards, three cideries and a meadery. In addition, two wineries operate second tasting rooms off premise.

The passport is just $10 and available online. Once a passport has been stamped at 12 venues along the trail, it can be redeemed for special Cheers! Trail merchandise.

Highlights of the trail include the palatial Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in Mills River and nearby Bold Rock Hard Cider, the nation’s top craft cidery. Six wineries, including two mountaintop vineyards, anchor the newly designated Crest of the Blue Ridge AVA, an American Viticultural Area wine region, while pedestrian-friendly downtown Hendersonville is home to six breweries.  Other highlights include a farmhouse brewery in the agricultural community of Etowah, an artisan cidery in the midst of an apple orchard, and a wine tasting room and bistro with scenic views of Chimney Rock. Please confirm the operating status and hours with each venue prior to visiting as these are subject to change.

The Cheers! Trail Passport is not only a fun stocking stuffer, it makes a great gift for friends, neighbors and co-workers. For more information or to order online, go to Please note that the paper passports are mailed via USPS within a few days after the order has been processed and take shipping times into account when ordering.
