North Carolina Apple Festival on Main Street

September 4 – September 7
Downtown Hendersonville
Main Street
Hendersonville, NC 28792

The North Carolina Apple Festival celebrates its 80th anniversary this Labor Day weekend, bringing four days of fresh-picked apples, live entertainment, arts and crafts, food and family traditions to downtown Hendersonville. This year’s theme, 80 Years Strong: A Sweet Tradition, commemorates eight decades of honoring Henderson County’s apple-growing heritage.

Fourteen local apple growers line Main Street throughout the weekend, offering visitors the
opportunity to purchase fresh-picked apples, discover different apple varieties and enjoy an
assortment of apple treats. Festival goers can also explore more than 80 arts, crafts and food vendors and enjoy continuous live entertainment throughout the weekend.

The four-day celebration culminates with the beloved King Apple Parade at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, September 7.
