The Floyd Country Store is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia and is loved by locals and visitors from around the world for music and dance events, high-quality comfort food, classic ice cream favorites, and local artisan goods.
We offer a variety of events including the Friday Night Jamboree which spills into the streets, free Saturday Americana Afternoons and Sunday Music Jams, plus education from the Handmade Music School. You can play, dance or just enjoy listening. Check our events calendar for a current schedule.
Through our relationship with local farms and bakeries we offer homemade seasonal and delicious food made with locally grown produce. The Soda Fountain serves hand-dipped Hershey’s ice cream and a selection of old-fashioned milkshakes, malts, sodas and sundaes, enjoyed by young and old alike.
Patrons can now enjoy a new outdoor space with great views of the Blue Ridge– an 800-square-foot patio that extends from the back of the building, with room for 10-12 tables that provide additional seating for dining and our backyard music events. The new patio is located behind the store, and is handicap accessible from the walkway on the side of the building.
While you are tapping your toes, check out our well-stocked general store that carries everything from books on the local area to souvenir t-shirts and candy, personal care products with pronounceable ingredients, to toys and musical instruments, accessories and instruction books.
