The Floyd Farm Trail is a great way to sample the delights of the unique and quirky community of Floyd. 40 miles of Blue Ridge Parkway run through Floyd and the county is studded with interesting farms and local producers.

Starting in the heart of Floyd with the lively Floyd Farmers Market, the self-guided trail includes a host of opportunities to visit farms that offer experiences of how food is grown, farm fresh products, up-close looks at farm animals, workshops to share skills and more.

You can visit a working farm, shop at a selection of farm stores, check out local wineries, and even a moonshine distillery. Deepen your country experience by staying in one of the farmstead lodging or camping locations, take a class to learn new skills, pick berries in season, visit a corn maze, or collect some unusual plants at a native plant nursery. And through it all, enjoy the beautiful rural environment of Floyd County and the musical and artistic flavor of the Town of Floyd.

Be sure to check for times and details before visiting each venue. All the information you need to start planning is on the Floyd Farm Trail website at: https://floydfarmtrail.org
