Hidden Valley Motel faces highway 105 between Boone and Linville, yet we sit far enough back that guests tell me traffic does not present a problem. We’re pretty much in the center of the area six to nine miles to Boone, Blowing Rock, Valle Crucis, Banner Elk and Linville and the many attractions located in or near those towns. We’ll sure do our best to make you feel welcome.
Turn time back a bit. Go beyond the sidewalks and travel at the slower pace we once enjoyed. You can park pretty much in front of your guest room and sit on your own bench on the front porch to enjoy the outdoors. Enjoy the deck in the garden with birds, blooms and butterflies and other wildlife scurrying around. There are old cars, tractors and other various items from the past to enjoy as you relax.
Our rooms are both quaint and modern, yep, you’ll find them individually decorated to our somewhat country taste. You’ll find some photos of us and our families on the walls for a touch of the past, yet in each room you will find wireless internet access, LCD TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot and the same comfortable mattresses and of course heat and air conditioning. If the season is nice and you want to open the windows, well they open so you can hear the birds on a spring morning.
