Where to Find Gas and EV Charging on the Blue Ridge Parkway

Gas stations are not located directly on the Blue Ridge Parkway, so it’s important to plan ahead. Fuel is available just a few miles off the Parkway at many U.S. and State Highway access points. These nearby towns and communities often offer full services, including gas stations, food, lodging, and other traveler amenities. Whether you’re driving, motorcycling, or road-tripping the full 469 miles, you’ll find plenty of convenient gas stations and EV charging options near Parkway exits in both Virginia and North Carolina.

EV Charging Stations Along the Blue Ridge Parkway

Looking to charge your electric vehicle while exploring the Parkway? Many Blue Ridge Parkway Association member businesses offer on-site EV charging stations. Look for EV Charging Station signs as you travel!

Gas and EV Charging in Shenandoah National Park

If you’re beginning your journey along Skyline Drive, there is one gas station available at Big Meadows Wayside (Milepost 51) inside Shenandoah National Park. It’s best to enter with a full tank, as pumps can be unreliable during winter or outages. EV charging stations are also available within the park — check the Shenandoah National Park Goods & Services page for up-to-date details.
