Patriotic Quilt Raffle and Quilting Book

“Soldier’s Pride” is the name quilter Karen Dever gave to the the patriotic handmade quilt she has generously donated as a fund-raiser raffle for The Veterans History Museum of the Carolinas. Raffle tickets are now on sale at the museum for $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. Also, Dever’s book, Soldier’s Pride & More is for sale (a limited supply) at the museum for $20. Dever is a resident of Moorestown, N.J., and will be in Brevard June 14 at 11am to present a free program on quilting. She is a frequent speaker on quilting and has published quilt patterns in “McCalls,” “For the Love of Quilting,” and “Quilter’s Newsletter.”
