Brevard is a storybook town surrounded by fabled forests – Pisgah, DuPont, Gorges – known for their waterfalls and white squirrels. Visitors enjoy one-of-a-kind shops as they explore downtown, and along the way will discover animal sculptures, murals, and a heritage museum. Brevard is the starting point of the Scenic 276 South Fine Art and Craft Corridor, a 13-mile stretch of highway featuring art galleries, working and teaching studios, shops, and fresh local produce. In the summertime, be sure to take in a concert at the world -renowned Brevard Music Center.

Brevard is known for its local brewery scene with 5 craft breweries offering expertly crafted taps. Grab a glass, a bite to eat and listen to live music in some locations. All breweries are located within 20 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Be sure to give Brevard a wave from the Pounding Mill Overlook! It’s one of our favorite spots for a sunset after shopping and dining in Downtown Brevard. Do you see Looking Glass Rock in the distance? It’s the largest granite monolith east of the Mississippi River. That’s our backyard, and it’s incredible. Come see us! Explorebrevard.com
